Disabled Routes

Introduction

The Disabled Routes feature allows service providers to disable routing on certain calls. If a user prefers not to apply static routing rules or least cost routing on certain calls, the Disabled Routes feature allows the user to return SIP 503 responses to the calls.

Setup

Calls can be denied routing based on the LATA, SPID, and/or called number. Users may disable routes to certain call destinations for all subscribers or for select subscribers. You should not create a disabled route with a blank prefix field because this turns off routing on all phone calls.
