This page lists the call placement services that are currently recognized by ClearIP. The call placement service is a public repository owned by the terminating service provider that stores identity tokens used for out-of-band STIR. ClearIP users can use this page as a reference to know which call placement services are supported by ClearIP. Users are not expected to manage anything shown in this list.
By default, all users that use ClearIP out-of-band STIR features share a call placement service within ClearIP which does not need to be listed in the Call Placement Services page. However, if a user requests for a call to be authenticated out-of-band and the call should be delivered to a terminating service provider who does not use ClearIP’s verification features, then the identity token will fail to be delivered to the terminating provider’s call placement service unless the URL address and public key are listed in the Call Placement Services page.
