BCID Passing Confirmation Policies

ClearIP supports the sending of BCID Passing Confirmations for Terminating Service Providers.

Setup BCID Passing Confirmation Policies in ClearIP

Called Number

A BCID Passing Confirmation policy can be configured to use a called number as either an exact match or a prefix. The Asserted Called Number is used to find a match. The Called Number field can also be left blank for the policy to apply to any called number. The Asserted Called Number will be used, regardless of whether the number has been ported.

Icon Supported

The Icon Supported refers to whether or not the device supports displaying icons. If this is Yes, then the logo claim will be sent in the BCID Passing Confirmation.

NOTE: Icon Supported should only be set to Yes when the subscriber phone can display the logo.

Reason Supported

The Reason Supported refers to whether or not the device supports displaying reasons. If this is Yes, and the call reason within the PASSporT is verified, then the call reason claim will be sent in the BCID Passing Confirmation.

NOTE: Reason Supported should only be set to Yes when the subscriber phone can display the reason.

BCID Terminating Service Provider ID

The BCID Terminating Service Provider ID refers to the Terminating Service Provider ID of the terminating service provider within the BCID ecosystem.
